Miss Rebekah
Rebekah has always enjoyed the beauty and energy of Irish dance. As a teenager, she saved up money from her first job to take dance lessons at The Quinn School of Irish Dance in Lansing under the instruction of Erin Quinn. She has danced for both recreation and competition, but her heart has always leaned more towards blessing her community through performing at schools and nursing homes.
After marrying her lovely husband, Kevin, her focus shifted towards starting a family and raising their wonderfully rambunctious children. Dance, however, continued to be a passion she came back to time and again, from Highland dance lessons at a nearby community center to finding His Feet Dance and adding years of ballet to her repertoire alongside Irish step, which she continued to study at His Feet.
Now, she's teaching the next generation the beauty of glorifying God through dance. "Therefore, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to walk in him, by being rooted and built up in him, and strengthened in the faith just as you were taught, while you overflow in faith with thanksgiving” (Colossians 2:6). "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord” (Psalm 150:6).
